Weekly Plan for June 15-19

Hello students!

Guess what? Only 2 more weeks of online school!!! You've almost finished grade7! Hip Hip Hooray for you! We teachers are so proud of your hard work. You've demonstrated great responsibility, determination, perseverance and maturity in keeping up with your studies. Online schooling has been frustrating at times but you have learned new independent learning and technology skills.

Perseverance means you keep trying do do something, even though it is very hard. This is a valuable characteristic to have. It will take you far in life. Thank you all for persevering through online school and doing your work. I know it was hard. I know it was unfair. I also know that perseverance is a quality you have to develop inside yourself, no one can give it to you. You have to give it to yourself. All of your teachers are proud of you for persevering in your studies.

Okay, life lesson is finished for now. There is only 1 assignment due this week. RR5 is due Wednesday. Reading Response 5 includes both writing and visual. Please demonstrate your best writing and thinking skills. If you have forgotten the format, look at earlier RR5 posts, or the blog Resources, or review your previous RRs in your docs.

Friday we will have another Video Party. Email Ms. Brown at aibrown@cbe.ab.ca if you would like to have your video shown. Party 1 was awesome!! No one from 7-1 participated :( but 7-4 and 7-2 did. Thanks to F., A., E. and S. for showing your videos!!
