Research for Silent Film Topics and Textbook Chapters

This week all students received their Silent Film groups and began research. You had to do 3 word notes from the textbook, online Canadian Encyclopedia and other sources. Note taking is due Friday and the research papers are due next Thursday.

Research papers are individual work and will be graded. It is important that you write detailed answers, based on your research and use proper grammar when writing.

Pre-Confederation Events

We are finishing our work on Canada's Pre-Confederation history. By now you should be finished your 3 word notes on your top 10 events, finished your textbook 3 word notes and almost finished your paragraphs.
After your paragraphs are completed, the fun begins! Design your artifact! Think about what object from your historical event could be a clay artifact. Your artifact can be a tool, vase, miniature weapon, or creative concept design that symbolizes your event.
